We, at the Holland Center, would like to inform you of some changes in our upcoming schedule, and also to inform you of a wonderful event.

AZ Sage Art Market Postponed

The Arizona Sage Art Market is being postponed. We want this enormously successful show to be safe for the vendors and the attendees. It was originally supposed to occur on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, but it is being changed to:

Saturday, April 10, 2021 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at The Holland Center

There will be many outdoor vendors this year, and we are looking forward to having you join us on this new date!

Sage Market Information

Visual Arts Series Canceled for 2021

The Visual Arts Series has been an ongoing joy every Winter for many years at The Holland Center. It was always an in-person event, and the attendees were able to get together, and have lively discussions with the presenters. This year, however, it has been difficult to get presenters. Many of the museums in the Phoenix area are closed, and not sending out any speakers. So we will look forward to 2022,when we can once again come together to share our love of art.

New Shows Coming to the Holland Gallery of Fine Art

"Surviving Covid with Art"

This show is sponsored by the Mesa Arts League. In addition to their own works, they are featuring the art of two Veterans in their Veteran Art Program. One is a vet from World War II (96 years old) and the other is from the Viet Nam War. They both passed on Jan. 14, and it is an honor to showcase their art.

The show goes from Feb. 1st to March 1st at the Holland Center. There will be a reception on Feb. 6 from 4:30 - 6:30.

"Art in the Time of Trepidation"

"Take Five" is a group of ambitious and energetic artists, coming from throughout the valley, and each utilizing a different style and medium. The show is entitled "Art in the Time of Trepidation". While each artist's style is different, their work combines to present a cohesive, visually exciting and timely exhibit.

The art show begins on March 12, 2021, and continues into April. Details on a reception will be forthcoming.
