AME Headquarters moves to Phoenix!

AME Landscape Companies administrative team has moved to 56th street and Van Buren to be closer to our growing clientele base.  Moving became a necessity when AME Landscape Companies experienced continued 2017 and 2018 growth and team members were added to handle the added administrative and operational duties. With the increased square footage of office space, we are now positioned to handle more growth in 2019 and add to our every evolving and talented team!

  

 

Pistacia x 'Red Push' / Red Push Pistache Tree

Red Push is one of the few trees that bring fall color to the desert. When temperatures begin to cool expect foliage in shades of red, orange and yellow.

This is a deciduous tree with a moderate growth rate that in warmer months has leaves with a medium green color, however as new leaves first emerge they have a distinctive red color. The tree canopy develops into a broad, spreading form to 20’ – 40’ wide and obtains a height of 25’ – 40’, becoming shapely with age. ‘Red Push’ does well as a street or lawn tree and is drought and cold tolerant.

October Maintenance Activities 

Annual flower beds will be planted with cool season flowers.

Lawns will be over-seeded with winter rye grass.

Removal of collapsing, flowered Agaves continues.

Mowing, raking, edging and trash/leaf collection (weekly basis).

All plant material will continue to be monitored for disease or pest infestation.

Applications of post-emergent herbicide on all decomposed granite (dg) areas will be completed each service visit.

• OTHER OPTIONAL SERVICES:  PRE-EMERGENT WEED CONTROL continues this month and we recommend you consider this service to prevent winter weeds!
